Project Controls education programme
The Project Controls education programme take place several times throughout the year, and educates you to become a Project Controls Engineer in three steps. The course is structured in such a way that the modules connect well with one another, and that participants attain the knowledge necessary to effectively master the profession. It is also possible to register for individual training courses of the programme.
Step 1: Learn the basic principles of Project Controls
It is important to develop a solid understanding of the basics of the profession, the Foundation. What is Project Controls and why is the integrated approach important? How do you set up an effective Work Breakdown Structure? Participants subsequently learn the basics of network scheduling, the critical path method and Schedule Best Practices.

Step 2: Choose your planning tool
The most effective tools for planning projects are Oracle Primavera P6 Professional (4 days) and Microsoft Project (2 days). In the second step of the programme, the Tooling. you learn how to master project planning in the chosen planning tool, which includes learning how to apply Scheduling Best Practices in the tool. In these modules, much attention is paid to the application of Schedule Best Practices in the tool.
Step 3: Specialise to become a professional
In the Risk specialisation, participants learn how to integrate project risks into the planning. The Cost specialisations focuses on the integration of planning and costs, with a major role for the Earned Value Management reporting and management method. The Information specialisations cover preparing and integrated schedule, the relationship between different stakeholders, and setting up effective means of communication in your projects and organisation. In the Claim specialisations, you learn how to deal with changes to the project and how claims can be calculated using Delay Analysis Techniques.

When at least step 1 and 2 are completed, the participant is invited to the Project Scheduling Game, which has been developed together with IÉSEG School of Management. After this the participants receive a certificate form the Primaned Academy.

After completing this module you will receive a Primaned Academy certificate.
The programme is offered in three variants of planning tool module: with Oracle Primavera P6 Professional, with Microsoft Project, or with both planning tools.
The full training costs € 5940.00 (12 days of training) for the variant with Microsoft Project as tooling, and € 6930.00 (14 days of training) for the variant with Oracle Primavera P6 Professional.
