The Work Breakdown Structure forms the backbone of an integrated schedule. How do you set up an effective WBS? Should you choose a product-oriented of action-oriented WBS? In this module, the most important theoretical background of setting up a WBS is discussed, after which participants themselves get to work translating a schedule of requirements into an adequate and effective Work Breakdown Structure.
This module is part of the step Foundation of the Project Controls education programme.

Preliminary training
Although no specific prior knowledge is required, we recommend completing this course in combination with the module “Principles of Project Controls”(which are planned together on 1 day).
